ETC Institute facilitates focus groups with community, Board and staff; interviews with community leaders; and public forums.

Library forms Strategic Planning Committee (3 Board members, 5–6 community members, Friends board rep., Director, 4–5 staff (Adult, Children, Outreach, Collection)
Set meeting dates and issue invitations
Meet with staff work group to plan agenda for 10/23 meeting and gather background information about current library services

October 8 (Staff Day)
Sara Laughlin works with all staff to identify shared values.

October 23, 2:30–5:30 p.m.
First meeting with the Strategic Planning Committee (ETC FACILITATES).
