The basics

What's a blog, what can do with one, and how do you set one up? This class will guide you through the process of setting up a blog and introduce you to the concept of online social networks:

Learn about blogs and other social networks, what they are, what they aren't
Take a look a various social networking software, and an in-depth look at Blogger, a free tool for creating and managing a weblog
Write a blog entry, edit it, and post it to the web
Discuss security and privacy concerns
Set up comments and much more

Each class is two hours.
Space is limited to 10 participants.
