Five-Part Class on Basic Computer Skills

New to the world of computers?
This class introduces you to computing and web basics--including email.

SUPER-BASICS COMPUTING
Learn essential computer skills in short 1 hour express classes. Super-Basics Computing is a one hour class focusing on very basic computing skills. Registration required.

EMAIL BASICS with Focus on Yahoo and Gmail
Learn essential computer skills in short 1 hour express classes. Learn the basics of email including how to register for an account; how to compose and send messages; how to organize your email; how to attach files to your email message and how to protect yourself from unwanted email. Attendees should be comfortable with using a mouse and keyboard. Registration required.

EXPRESS BASIC WORD
Learn essential computer skills in short 1 hour express classes. Learn the basics of Word 2007 including opening, creating, and saving simple documents. We'll also discover how to set text size and to recognize Word icons. Also to be covered will be how to save and print using our library computers. This is a basic word class for those who are unfamiliar with word processing. Attendees must be comfortable with using a mouse and keyboard. Registration required.
