Are you new to the World Wide Web but ready to begin exploring? This 2-part class covers the basics of webpage functionality and offers tips for using search engines.

Attendees are required to sign up for the entire two-part course. The two classes take place on the same day of the week over a two-week period.

Class One:

Learn about common webpage elements like links, dropdown menus, text boxes, and more
Familiarize yourself with the basic components of the Internet Explorer web browser
Review of the types of tools available via the Internet

Class Two:

Strategies for finding quality information on the Internet
Tips for using popular search engines
Evaluating information

Each class is one hour.
Space is limited to 10 participants.
All classes are held in Program Room 2C.
