Cannonball Run
The mad-cap story of an anything goes cross country race. This film features the talents of Burt Reynolds and Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and even Jackie Chan. Loosely based on an actual race known as the Cannonball Baker Sea to Shinning Sea Memorial Trophy Dash organized by Brock Yates to protest the 55 mile an hour speed limit.

Days of Thunder
Tom Cruise stars as Cole Trickle, a hot NASCAR driver in this Top Gun on the raceway. This film is full of racing action and is the first film to feature cameras placed on the cars.

The Great Race
It’s the Turn of the Century and automakers desiring to prove the worth of their cars enter them in a race from New York to Paris. Don’t even think about how they get across the ocean. This movie features, some of the most outlandish racing gags you can imagine, not to mention a pie fight that still holds the record today for the largest number of pies thrown.

Heart Like a Wheel
It’s 1946 and little Shirley knew she was born to race. Follow her life through many trials and tribulations as she strives to reach her dreams.

The Love Bug
This is the film that won a special place in our hearts for Herbie, Disney’s little junkyard to racing star VW Beetle. Inspiring many sequels and remakes almost everyone can identify with this small cars desire to make it big.

Speed boat racing at its best. The true story of the small town or Madison Indiana and their struggles to host and race in, one of the most important races in the world of hydroplane racing.

Redline
This story of illegal car racing doesn’t feature your run-of-the-mill automobiles. In these races you will find some of the most expensive cars ever made, including a Phantom Rolls Royce and an Enzo Ferrari. I shouldn’t mention that in the process of filming this movie one of only 400 Enzo Ferraris made became a total wreck.

Speed Racer
You grew up with the cartoons, now Speed has hit the big screen. While this film may be a little short on story it has the wildest and most impossible race scenes ever put on film.

This film features racing, women and song. Song? It stars Elvis Presley, need I say more.

Talladega Nights; The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
The story of NASCAR racer Ricky Bobby and Carl Naughton Jr, otherwise known as “Shake” and “Bake” to their fans. Can they win out against Jean Girard and flamboyant French Formula One driver? It’s not all about racing though, this film won the 2007 MTV movie award for “Best Kiss.”

Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines
Tired of staying on the ground? Let this film take you on a flying romp from London to Paris as man is first beginning to discover the joys of heavier-than-air flight. Not only are the pilots crazy, they are incompetent. Features Red Skelton in a short history of flight during the opening credits.
