Call to Order

Pat Steele called the meeting to order at 5:45pm in CATS Studio A.

Indiana State Health Commissioner Award

Judith Monroe, Commissioner of the Indiana State Department of Health, presented a commissioner award to Sheila Evans, Community Health Program Coordinator at Bloomington Hospital, and to Stephanie Holman, Children's Librarian at the Ellettsville Branch.

ILS

Cindy Gray presented information on the Integrated Library System. Cindy stated that library attorney, Tom Bunger, reviewed the Polaris contract and sees no legal problems with it. The total system costs $279,369.00. Copies of the contract were distributed to the Trustees.

Discussion followed.

Penny Austin moved to accept the Polaris contract. Stephen Moberly seconded. The vote was unanimous.

Cindy stated that the Trustees approval would be presented to the Building Corporation at their meeting on September 1.

Public Hearing on the 2007 Budget

Antonia Matthew spoke on the age limit on insurance for staff and expressed her concerns about the resolutions that the Trustees approved on August 16.
