Griffy Lake Nature Preserve is 1,179 acres off North Dunn Street, with a 109 acre lake. The boathouse is located at 3300 N. Headley Road. Scenic woodlands teem with wild flora and fauna Nature Preserve. Swimming is prohibited in the lake, and to protect wildlife, all dogs must remain leashed while in the preserve. Description The Hoosier Canoe Club, founded in 1963, is a common adventure organization for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy paddlesports, camping, wildlife and friendship.
