Fine Arts and Fabricating in the Digital Age

A “Fab Lab” is a small scale shop, equipped with computer controlled tools that can turn three dimensional designs into almost anything. Come tour the Fab Lab at the Indiana School of Fine Arts McCalla Studio to learn about digital fabrication and the local Maker scene. Nicole Jacquard, Associate Professor at the Indiana University Hope School of Fine Arts, will lead the tour and provide demonstrations about various pieces of equipment and how they are used to create physical objects from digital files.
Ages 13-Adult (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
McCalla Studio (525 E. 9th Street, Between Indiana & Dunn - Parking available.)
