Brick Wall Night for Genealogists
Indiana Room librarians will host an open house and be available for help scaling the brick walls that patrons have hit. The new reader/printer/scanners will be demonstrated, new materials will be on display and brief tours of the room and collection rearrangement will be given.

The Bill Cook Story: Ready, Fire, Aim!
Meet local author, Bob Hammel, and enjoy his story of researching and writing a biography of local entrepreneur Bill Cook. Changing from sports writing to biography introduced Bob to a new lexicon. His first purchase for his research was a medical dictionary.

A Nest of Rogues: Convicts and Indentured Servants Transported to the Colonies
Indiana Room librarian, Luann Dillon, will give an overview of the practice of sending British criminals to the Maryland and Virgina colonies to work on tobacco plantations. Books and websites will be examined.
