Description	We are a non-profit organization that focuses on Indian heritage and culture. Hare Krishna Indiana provides free lectures and study to those interested in learning Sanskrit, Kirtan, yoga, meditation, self-perfection, how to handle stress, and more. Childrens services are also available and lead by Hare Krishna Indiana's youth organizer. Workshops are also lead on different topics and include videos, music, crafts, and so much more.

Interfaith Winter Shelter

Description	The IWS operates as a "low barrier" shelter during the winter months. It was designed to offer a safe and warm place to sleep for men and women who - for whatever reason - have no other alternative but the streets. The primary criteria for admission into the shelter is respectful behavior, regardless of whether or not a guest is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substance. Experience has taught us incidents of inappropriate behavior are rare. Guests simply appreciate a warm place to sleep. Participating sites and volunteers agree to follow a set of guidelines that allow for the safety and well being of guests and volunteers alike, including no drugs, alcohol, or weapons on the premise.

Description	New Leaf - New Life, Inc. was founded in April 2006 by a group headed by Rev. Harold (Hal) Taylor to address unmet needs of people caught up in our criminal justice system. New Leaf sees jail as an opportunity to intervene in the lives of troubled people following a philosophy of therapeutic justice. In Hal's words The corrections system should correct. People should come out of prison and jail more capable of leading productive lives than when they entered the system.

Description	They provide community resource information and limited financial help. Also, they collect and distribute donated furniture and appliances to those in need through a voucher system. St. Vincent de Paul is Catholic led, but is open to all who wish to serve Christ by serving others. In Bloomington, they currently have volunteers from the three local Catholic parishes, St. Charles, St. John's and St. Pauls as well as from St. Thomas Lutheran Church and others.

Description	The Islamic Center at 1925 East Atwater, on the corner of the Indiana University campus is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Bloomington, the woodland of the Hoosier State. The dream of hundreds of Muslims to have a mosque took more than a decade of hard work to come to light. For a few years, the MSA used the International Center and other places to perform Friday prayers. It proved very inconvenient for Muslims. In December 1975, the MSA bought a house on East 8th Street from a local church and converted it into an Islamic center. The two prayer halls, library and basement were used to their maximum but not without problems. Though the center was in a prime location, it was hard to maintain and had only 8 parking spaces for almost 500 students. In June 1984, the MSA made a historic decision when it bought property for the purpose of building a mosque. The money was provided by Dr. Abdullah Naseef, the secretary general of the Muslim World league.

Description	Youth for Christ is an international organization wholly committed to youth evangelism. Founded in 1944 with Billy Graham as its first staff member, YFC has reached out to youth through ever-changing methods with a never-changing message of hope. Southern Hills is a chartered ministry center of that movement. YFC is independent of any one church or denomination. Works with junior and senior high school students. Interdenominational Christian organization working to communicate the life changing news of Jesus Christ to students. Involves weekly discussion groups and activities for students. Lawrence County High School Campus Life meets at 7:11pm every Monday at the CL Building on the Square in Bedford Monroe County High School Campus Life meets at 7:11pm every Monday in a certain home each month Owen County Campus Life meets from 6:15-8:00pm every Wednesday at the Owen Valley Sports Complex Monroe County Middle School Campus Life meets every other Friday night at the YMCA next one is March 5th!

Description	We are a licensed and accredited childcare program for children ages 2 - 6. Our program serves low-income families where all parents in the household must be working full-time or working part-time and in school part-time. We do allow a small percentage of our enrollment to be children of full-time students. Our fees are determined on a sliding scale based on family size and income. While care in our center actually costs about $180/week, most of our parents pay $35 - $45/week.
