Meets the 1st Monday of the month, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Boxcar Books 310 S. Washington St.
International peace and justice organization concerned with a range of issues, such as nuclear weapons, the selling of private water supplies, women's issues, racial intolerance, and corporate power. We study issues and then determine actions.
Open only to University Women's Club members. Book discussion focuses primarily but not exclusively on works of fiction. Hostess duties rotate on a voluntary basis as the group meets in each other's homes.
Hannah House serves as a safe haven for pregnant women in the local community and in the surrounding area. Hannah House is supported by Crisis Pregnancy Center. The nonprofit group serves women, as well as their families and partners, who come seeking help in making decisions about their pregnancies and related concerns.
