Zines? What?! Come find out how to make your own beautiful little book-pamphlet-zine creations in this class on self-publishing. In this empowering course attendees will be given a brief history of zines and zine making, brainstorm zine ideas and finally bring them to a tangible object over three days spread out over three weeks.

A “Fab Lab” is a small scale shop, equipped with computer controlled tools that can turn three dimensional designs into almost anything. Come tour the Fab Lab at the Indiana School of Fine Arts McCalla Studio to learn about digital fabrication and the local Maker scene. Nicole Jacquard, Associate Professor at the Indiana University Hope School of Fine Arts, will lead the tour and provide demonstrations about various pieces of equipment and how they are used to create physical objects from digital files.
