My mom wanted me to read it.
A boy named Tutmose is sailing on his father's barge, when it sinks. He manages to escape with the baboons he is carrying on it, along with his father, who captured the baboons, and his brother, Ibrim. His father wants to sacrifice the baboons, but there is no temple to bury them in. The pharaoh has commanded that they worship no gods except one. His father is angry, and puts adders in the cat statue that Tutmose is making for the pharaoh, and the princess takes it. She gives it to the pharaoh, and when he unplugs the eye of the cat, Tutmose saves the pharaoh.
It was an imaginative story.
