Registration: Pick up a Teen Summer Reading Program Game Board at The Ground Floor in the Main Library, Ellettsville, or Bookmobile Information desks to learn more and get started! You can stop at one of these desks if you have questions about the Summer Reading Program. Have a great summer!

Ages: 12-19 years

Dates: May 26 -- August 3 (Prizes available starting July 1)

Locations: All branches (prize pick-up at Ellettsville and Main branches only)

Here's how it works -- Earn 10 points to get your choice of a paperback book and also to be entered into a drawing for the grand prize, an iPad Mini! Want more entries for the fabulous grand prize? Get additional entries for every 5 points you earn after the initial 10 (up to 3 total entries). How can you earn points?

  1. Read a book (1 point per book read)

  2. Listen to audiobooks (1 point per audiobook)

  3. Read for hours (1 point per hour): Reading really long books this summer? Keep track by the hours you read instead of waiting to finish the whole book!

  4. Attend a program (1 point per program attended): Be sure to have the program librarian initial your game board.

  5. Answer an online challenge question (1 point per question): Read the weekly computer challenge question and write the answer in your game board.

  6. Make a project in Level Up, the library's new Digital Creativity Center, featuring audio and video production studios, digital creativity workstations, and more. Drop in and start creating! Be sure to have a librarian in Level Up initial your game board.
