I checked out this book while waiting for Charlie Lovett's book, First Impressions (which was recommended by a friend). Although the first several pages didn't pull me in, it was interesting enough for me to persevere and the resulting read was certainly worth it. Lovett is an excellent writer, and the switch between time periods was handled very well. It is a romance and a mystery with switches through time periods from Shakespeare to the 1990's. I recommend it.
