New Wacom Drawing Tablet in Level Up!

Did you know the Library has a brand new Wacom tablet?  It's true! The Wacom Intuos Pro M is a powerful tool that can be used in so many creative ways. Similar to Level Up's Intuos Pro, this table allows you  to draw on its surface with a specialized pen and see your work on your computer screen.

Your drawings can then be manipulated further using other tools, like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.  It's a great way to work with art on the computer, and makes it faster and easier to get natural-looking lines and drawings into your projects.

You can use the Intuos Pro M with Photoshop to emulate a pastel drawing—without the mess. Learn how with Lynda, free with your Library card.

At its core, a tablet is just another kind of mouse—anything you can do with a mouse, you can do with a tablet. However, a tablet is also much more than a mouse. Depending on the software you're using (Photoshop and Illustrator play great with tablets), and the settings you choose, it can sense the pressure and the angle of your pen, and its different buttons control the software as well.

Come on in to Level Up and ask us about it today. We’re happy to help you get set up and working!
