AddressBloomington, IN
Description

What we are:

An informal group for divorcing, separating, or divorced individuals residing in the Bloomington, Indiana area who are looking for support while navigating their new circumstances.

While our individual stories differ they all involve the ending of serious relationships initially entered into with the belief that they would last a lifetime. We gather to support one another at weekly meetings where we share our feelings, concerns, and experiences with other members who are facing similar issues of adjustment.

Participants are expected to be willing and able to meet in person on a fairly regular basis.

LGBTQIA - friendly.

What we are not:

  • This is not a therapy group.
  • This is not a dating group.
  • This is not a place for seeking hook ups.
  • This is not a group for those simply looking to meet new people to hang out with and activities to fill their time.

The group currently meets weekly from 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday evenings. For information regarding meetings please email:

BloomingVeg

Websitehttps://www.bloomingveg.org
AddressBloomington, IN
Description

BloomingVeg is an all-ages social and advocacy group for vegetarians, vegans, and veggie-lovers alike in Bloomington, Indiana. BloomingVeg was founded in 2012 in part to organize outings, helping at the local animal sanctuary, promoting & publicizing vegan dining options in Bloomington, leafleting, demonstrating at circuses and engaging in other friendly efforts to help others live more compassionately.

Also because eating is such a social aspect of our lives, we wanted to provide a venue for fun gatherings like Meatless Monday dinners at local  restaurants, potlucks, holiday cookie swaps and more among like-minded people.

If you are a long time vegan or vegetarian, just starting out or maybe you just like eating vegan food--BloomingVeg has something for you.
