ACUI Association of College Unions International

Description: 

ACUI (Association of College Unions International) was founded in the Midwestern United States by a group of students. Today, it has grown into the knowledge-based association for those students and professionals working in college unions and student activities throughout the world. The ACUI Central Office moved to Bloomington in 1981 and has maintained close ties with the local community and Indiana University ever since.

Folklore and Ethnomusicology Students Association

Description: 

Indiana University majors, minors, and others with an interest in the activities of our discipline are welcome to participate in the Folklore and Ethnomusicology Student Association (FESA). FESA holds monthly meetings and helps plan departmental and campus-wide events such as the folklore and ethnomusicology film series, career night, and concerts. Participation in the group provides opportunities for networking, leadership development, and career exploration.

Hong Kong Students' Association

Description:

The Hong Kong Students' Association at Indiana University Bloomington was established to serve the Hong Kong community and promote Hong Kong to the vast population around the IUB campus. Not only do we focus on helping the newcomers adapting to the American lifestyle, we also aim at helping every Hong Kong student to enrich their experience here at IU. Moreover, we desire to strengthen ties among our members and alumni, as well as to serve those who are interested in Hong Kong culture - we are here to provide a helping hand to the Hong Kong community and to share with people our unique heritage which we are absolutely proud of.

Description: 

The Hungarian Cultural Association is a student-run organization at Indiana University. The HCA organizes programs and events for students of the Hungarian language and Hungarian Studies. Mortar Board Senior Honor Society

Description: 

Mortar Board, Inc. is a national honor society that recognizes college seniors for their achievements in scholarship, leadership and service. The honor society provides opportunities for continued leadership development, promotes service to colleges and universities and encourages lifelong contributions to the global community.

Mortar Board began as the first-ever national organization honoring senior college women founded in 1918. Today, it has grown into a comprehensive honor society that selects first-rate members who exemplify the ideals of scholarship, leadership and service. Mortar Board is an active honor society that requires members to uphold these ideals through campus and community service, academic achievement, and leadership.

Description: 

The purpose of the SAS is to improve the professional, academic, and social aspects of its members' lives.
