The Friends of the Library has a four-day book sale twice a year in Meeting Room 1B/C at the Downtown Library with thousands of items at bargain prices!
The 2026 Big Fall Book Sale will be open to the public September 18–21 with a special early-bird sale for Friends members on September 17. Join the Friends now or at the door!
Thursday, September 17: 4–7 PM (Friends members only)
Friday, September 18: 10 AM–6 PM (all books 50¢–$2)
Saturday, September 19: 10 AM–6 PM (all books 50¢–$2)
Sunday, September 20: 12–6 PM (receive a Friends tote bag and fill it for $12; fill a box for $18)
Monday, September 21: 9 AM–2 PM (all remaining items are free)

If you're interested in volunteering to set up or work at the Big Book Sale, please fill out a Library volunteer application, then you can sign up for shifts to work.
