Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
I got into it after I went to an exhibit about her at a museum. I decided to read her diary after that experience because she inspired me. It's been my favorite book ever since.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
She, her family, another family and a dentist had to hide from the Nazis for two years. In the end, they were forced he and taken to concentration camps, where they all died except for Anne's father. He published Anne's diary for her.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I liked this book because it's an important document and tells the story of a 13, 14, then 15-year-old girl who, despite the horrors of Nazi Germany and WWII, stayed human and had hopes for the end of the war.
