Book Title:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Author:
J.K. Rowling
Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
I had read all the other Harry Potter books, and all my friends said it was their favorite book in the series.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger go hunting for Horcruxes (pieces of Lord Voldemort's soul) instead of going back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, much to Hermione's displeasure. Meanwhile, at Hogwarts most of the students take a stand against Voldemort and his followers, the Death Eaters, that are running the school. Harry learns much about his past and what he must do to overcome Voldemort.
Who is your favorite character in the story? Why?:
My favorite character is Ginny Weasley because she is brave and daring, but also kind and smart. I like the fact that she is not afraid to stand up for anyone.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I liked the bravery of all the characters and the fact that they were fighting for what was right. I was really sad that Dobby the House-Elf, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Mad-Eye Moody, Hedwig, and Fred Weasley died.
Other thoughts or feelings about this story? Anything else to add?:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was written so well, I felt bad for Voldemort at the end.
