Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
I had read the first book in the series and wanted to read the second.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
Julia Gillian observes her best friend Bonwit is acting strangely. When Julia Gillian asks him what's wrong, he lies and says his mom has a cold. At the end it turns out his mom is actually having twin baby girls!
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I liked how each character(Lathrop, Cerise, Julia Gillian, Bonwit, Enzo, Zap and the parents) is different in his/her own way.
Other thoughts or feelings about this story? Anything else to add?:
Julia Gillian also gets excited for trumpet lessons (something she's been looking forward to since kindergarten) but discovers she can't make a sound on the instrument.
