Book Title:
The Ruins of Gorlan
Author:
John Flanagan
Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
A worker at the Ellettsville Branch library suggested it to me after I told them how I had liked the Theodore Boone books.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
Throughout the whole series Will, his friend Horace, and his mentor Halt go on many adventures and even defeat Morgarath. Some of the books are continuations of the ones before them. Like the 2-4 books are a continuing storyline.
Who is your favorite character in the story? Why?:
Horace because he is a bully and messes with Will in the beginning of the first book, but turns into Will's best friend who he would die for. He is also amazing with a sword.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I loved the stories because they have just about everything I love in the book. It has action, depth, stakes, and is emotional and not predictable.
Other thoughts or feelings about this story? Anything else to add?:
If you see these books at your library it's a must read book.
