It's about a boy named Billy who gets two red-boned coon hounds, and establishes a deep and unique relationship with them.
Who is your favorite character in the story? Why?:
One of Billy's dogs, Little Ann.
I like her because she is loving, smart, and has an unusual love with her brother, Old Dan that just seems really touching.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I liked it because it was exciting, touching, beautiful, depressing, descriptive, and liked the way the author made the story sound a lot too. It definitely made me feel curious about what comes next a lot.
