It's about a boy named billy who is desperate for some good hunting dogs.
Who is your favorite character in the story? Why?:
Old Dan and Little Ann,
because they're really nice, generous and caring.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I like it because it has a really good plot and it's very very entertaining.
It's full of suspense and drama and I liked the way the author put it into words.
Other thoughts or feelings about this story? Anything else to add?:
I got really sad near the end and I would recommend it for children 8+.
I give it five out of five stars.
