We are a group of concerned citizens from south-central Indiana who believe that the challenges the nation and the world are facing are so serious that they can only be solved through a rebirth of citizenship.

The West Second Church of Christ exists because of Christ and for Christ. We recognize Jesus as the Son of God who was sent to endure, triumph, and establish His kingdom, His church, in order that all those who trust and follow Him can have a hope of eternal life. We don't claim to have all the answers to life's hard questions, but we know where the answers can be found. Join us as we strive to imitate the life of Christ!

WFHB is the hub of our local community, and to that end, we create programming that meets the needs of the community. Hola Bloomington, Bring It On!, BloomingOUT, EcoReport, and many other programs produced by the public affairs department are important reminders of diversity of this area. The WFHB news department has won over 40 awards for journalistic excellence. This is evident in Daily Local News at 5:30 PM. WFHB music programming is eclectic and unique- nothing you will hear on other stations- such as Planetary Caravan, Golden Age Radio, Reggae Children, and so much more. WFHB also produces the quarterly live radio show- Firehouse Follies, the monthly Brown Country Hour, and many live, in-studio music performances throughout the year. Backstreet Missions, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless and those with spiritual and physical needs, reaching out to people where they are, extending Christ’s love in practical ways.

In Winslow Woods Park on South Highland Avenue, Willie Streeter Community Garden is a place for members of the public to try their hands at gardening in rented plots. The garden includes in-ground plots (available in two sizes) as well as raised beds for rent. Garden tools, other amenities, and educational opportunities are available to gardeners as well.

Windfall Dancers is Bloomington's oldest community modern dance collective. We are a fully qualified 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors. Windfall is comprised of a community of people who love to dance. Windfall Dancers is always working to make sure that Bloomington has a space where the community can come together to create, learn, and enjoy dance
