Suggest a Purchase

We welcome your suggestions of materials to add to MCPL's collections. To suggest a purchase, please complete this form. If you would like to try to borrow an item from another library, please complete the Interlibrary Loan Request [1] form. If you need assistance, please contact us [2].

Purchasing decisions are based on our:

Library Card Barcode Number *
Please fill in the last seven digits of your barcode in the blank. If your barcode number begins with "PACREG", please come to the Library to get your physical library card and full barcode number before submitting a suggestion for purchase.

Is this a request for a specific title or a more general suggestion for the Library collections? *
If you are making a general suggestion, please let us know more in the "Additional Information" box. Do you want more werewolf murder mysteries or Swedish baking books, for example.
Format *
MCPL no longer purchases materials in book-on-CD or music CD format. eBooks and eAudiobooks can be suggested directly through Hoopla [5] or Libby [6]. Library staff do not have the ability to place holds for e-materials. Please note that some titles may not be considered for purchase in one digital service if they are already available in another.

Please name the specific website, TV show, podcast or other source. This information may help in acquiring your Suggestion for Purchase.
