Brainfuse HelpNow

 

Brainfuse HelpNow is an all-in-one suite of tutoring services designed for a wide range of academic needs—whether it’s tackling a tough homework problem, mastering a particular topic, or writing a paper. The Brainfuse full-service test center offers practice tests for all levels in math, reading, and writing, as well as college preparatory tests, including the SAT.

Getting Started

1. You can use many of the tutoring resources without creating a Brainfuse account, but if you want to save anything or work with a tutor, you will need to create a Brainfuse account.

2. If you're inside the Library, just start using HelpNow. If you're outside the Library, you'll be prompted to log in with your library barcode and password. Get a library card to get started if you don't have one.

3. If you want to create a Brainfuse account, visit Brainfuse HelpNow and click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of the screen, then choose "My Account" again from the menu options.
    
4. On the My Account page, you'll have the option to register by creating a username and password or log in if you've previously created an account.
    
5. After logging in, you can select from a variety of helpful tutoring options, including:

• Live Tutoring
  Unlimited use, available 7 days a week from 2–11 PM EST (except holidays)
• Classroom
  A whiteboard where you will meet with your tutor
• Writing Lab
  You can upload a paper and get constructive feedback
• SkillSurfer
  Get practice tests, standardized tests (ACT, SAT, etc), and self-guided lessons
• Send Question
  Ask an academic question and get a response when you don't have time for a tutoring session
• LEAP Learning Platform
  College prep assessments to measure your preparedness and design a learning platform to help develop your skills
• Flashbulb
  Find pre-made flashcards to study or create your own flashcards
• eParachute
  Discover your strengths and match them with potential careers
• MEET
  Schedule study sessions with friends in this private virtual study room
• Brainwave
  Create and share movie-like notes and ideas
• Cloudpack
  Virtual storage for documents and websites you wish to save
• Adult Learning Center
  Achieve your learning and career goals with live one-on-one academic coaching, a practice test center, and online resources

Mobile App Access

A mobile app is available.  Use the QR code or verification ID displayed on your Brainfuse account page to login to the mobile app.
