My friend suggested it to me along with many other Roald Dahl books
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
The story is about a girl named Matilda who taught herself to read at an early age and taught herself to multiply before kindergarten. Her father and mother don't spend any time with her and (once she's in school) her principal hates kids. With some help from a wonderful kindergarten teacher, Matilda is able to change her life, her families, her schools, and her beloved teacher, Miss Honey.

I liked this story because it had detail, a good plot, and lots of things suprising you along the way!
