It had an interesting cover. We were learning about the author. We have been reading many if her books.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
This is the story of a woman that wanted a hat and the kids that tried to earn money to buy it for her. When they were blamed for something they didn't do, problems started for the kids.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
We like her life stories. It has a happy ending!
