Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
I decided to read this book for two reasons. one, I have read this book before and I liked it. Second, it was in the American Girl section, an I like American Girl books.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
Famous Professor Whaston is onboard the same ship that adopted sisters, Samantha and Nellie, are on. One night the lights go out at dinner and the Blue Star Sapphire that Professor Whaston has to give to the British Mueseum, goes missing! Samantha and Nellie prove that the professor's nephew, Harry, stole the Blue Star Sapphire.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I liked this story because it is mystery. You can solve it just like the character in the book!
Other thoughts or feelings about this story? Anything else to add?:
It is also fun to see what steamer ships were like a long time ago, since the story is set around 1906.
