The story was about the holocost and about the Natizes wanting to kill the Jews.   
Who is your favorite character in the story? Why?: 
My favorite character in the book was Ellen. I liked Ellen because she was very brave and was not scared of the Natizes.   
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?: 
I liked this story because it was a interesting story but it made me cry.

I read this book for class. Yes,it had an interesting cover.

This book was about Hitler and the Jewish people. A little girls friend was Jewish so her friend hides her and her parents go somwhere else so they would be safe.   
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?: 
I liked it because I like nonfiction books and I like history. I also like it because i like learnng about the past, or the old times.

My other thoughts or feelings are I would suggest this book to older kids because Its a little scary for yonger kids.

I like books about the war. My mom suggested it. My favorite chapter was My Dogs Smell Meat.

It was about a girl who lived during the war in Denmark. She helped her friend hide from German soldiers.

I like it because I like war stories, I liked the detailed and it was adventurous.

This is a book about a girl who tried to save her friend's life and the Jews of Denmark. The historical background of this book is when Hitler and German Nazis were trying to arrest every Jews:Holocaust. I liked this book because it made me wanted to read and wonder.
