Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
I did the MCPL kids summer reading program, so when I finished I got a free book from the cart. I noticed this book because the boy on the cover was not next to the girl, but in the reflection on the lake, he was.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
An eleven year old girl named pram has the ability to see and talk to the deceased. her best friend, Felix, is a ghost. She lives with her three aunts because her mother died giving birth to her and her father had abandoned her before she was born. Pram spends her days playing with felix until one day the school teacher comes to her house and says she has to go to school. When she goes to school she tries to sit in the most hidden seat in the classroom, but a boy gets there first. The boy has beautiful blue eyes. Pram wonders why he would want to hide in the back. How could she know he wondered the same thing about her.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
I loved the supernatural and the drama, but I wish it were scarier.
