Why did you decide to read this book? Did a friend suggest it? Did it have an interesting cover?:
I liked the title of this book. A friend told me it was really good. The cover was cool and I liked reading Gary Paulsen's book Lawn Boy. This was way more serious.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
This book is about a boy, Brian who is lost in the woods in Canada after a plane crash. He has to survive alone and he meets lots of wildlife and storms.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
The book was really good because the author told what it was like to be cold and hungry and alone. I liked the part where Brian learns to hunt and catch animals to survive. He gets sick from eating too many berries and has to find some meat.
Other thoughts or feelings about this story? Anything else to add?:
The book was good and made you think you were in the forest with Brian.
