Seed Library

The Seed Library is a collection of food and herb seeds you can take to plant at home! All seeds purchased by the Library are non-GMO.

The Seed Library now contains native seeds. Most native seeds require a period of cold in order to germinate. Watch our video to learn more.

Browse and Take Seeds

You can find the Seed Library in the Downtown Library's Library of Things space, next to the DVD collection. A library card is not required and there's no need to check out! Please take only what you plan to use.

Seed Library pickup by reservation is not available, however, special accommodations can be made in specific circumstances. Please email seedlibrary [at] mcpl.info with any questions.
