Take and Make Activity Kits and Events

Take and Make Kits

Take and Make Kits are available for a variety of ages and come with instructions and all the essential components you'll need to complete a fun crafting project! Past kit examples include cross-stitch for adults, Halloween lanterns for teens, and pinecone winter owls for kids. The selection changes regularly, so there’s always something new to craft!

Many kits are available on a grab-and-go, first-come, first-served basis. These are restocked daily and can be picked up at the Main Library, Ellettsville Branch, or on the Bookmobile.

In addition to the grab-and-go kits, we also offer some Take and Make Kits by reservation. These particular kits are part of specific Library programs and are paired with an interactive Zoom event. You can find a list of these below!

Take and Make Kits are generously funded by the Friends of the Library Foundation, who provides critical support to makes programs like these possible. Learn how to support the Friends of the Library Foundation.
