In the Iron Knight, a former prince of the Unseelie Court, Ash, goes on a mission to fulfill his promise to the girl he fell in love with, Meghan Chase. His promise? To become a mortal so that he may be with her in the Iron Realm, a kingdom that is home to dangerous creatures made solely of iron, and an unwelcome place for faeries of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. Ash comes across several acquaintences along his dangerous, adventurous, and heart-wrenching journey between the Nevernever and the mortal world; bringing back friends, foes, and memories.

Julie Kagawa wrote another series directly following this one called The Iron Fey- Call of the Forgotten which includes The Lost Prince and The Iron Traitor.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this "edge-of-your-seat" novel! It's a great book if you're looking for something with fantasy, mystery, romance, and adventure.
