A story of Rachel Rubenstein-Goldblatt, a Jewish writer who writes stories about Christmas. Her editor suggests she write a Hanukkah story, and she finds inspiration at the Matzah Ball, a music celebration on Hanukkah’s last night. There she meets the archenemy from her youth, Jacob Greenberg. As they spend more time together, Rachel rediscovers an appreciation for her Jewish roots - and for Jacob.
