About the Library

The Library provides services at no charge to all people living in Monroe County. All are welcome to visit to browse materials, use public computers, attend free programs, and enjoy the spaces. A free Library card allows Monroe County residents to:

  • Borrow physical books, DVDs, CDs, and more
  • Download or stream eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, and more
  • Access eLibrary learning and research materials
  • Reserve meeting rooms, study rooms, digital creativity studios, and exhibit spaces
