Get in the fall spirit and decorate a pumpkin as your favorite book character. Submit a photo for a chance to win an art supply gift card! All ages are welcome to enter. Submissions will be accepted October 1–31.
Horror story submissions may be about any terrifying topic or gruesome subject, but must be an original work and two sentences (400 characters or less) in length. Submissions will be accepted October 1–25.
Samrat Upadhyay's award-winning books, which have been translated internationally, have received praise from the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times, among others. Age 18 and up.

Members of the Bloomington Storytellers Guild will weave the scariest stories to keep you on the edge of your blanket! Bring a lawn chair to Bryan Park (1001 S. Henderson Street, Bloomington) and dress warmly to soothe your frayed nerves. Age 12 and up.

Drop in to the Downtown Library to creative engage with music! Musicians, whether pros or beginners, are encouraged to bring their own instruments. All ages.
