Kanopy is a high-quality video streaming service that does more than entertain—it inspires us, enriches us, and challenges our perspectives. Over 30,000 films are available, including classics, contemporary art, indie films, documentaries, and educational videos. Additionally, KanopyKids offers over 1,000 children’s videos from PBS, Weston Woods, Paramount, and other publishers.

Borrowing Periods

  • 30 tickets are provided to each account per month. Kanopy assigns each title a variable ticket amount
  • Unlimited watching of KanopyKids titles
  • Tickets reset on the first day of the month

  • You can see how many tickets are remaining in the top-right corner of items on your Continue Watching list

Tickets

Starting November 1, Kanopy accounts will now have 30 tickets to use per month on their variety of movies, television, and educational videos (instead of the previous 10 play credits). Each title is now clearly marked with the number of tickets it requires and time period it can be borrowed. The ticket count and borrowing period are assigned by Kanopy. Access to Kanopy Kids remains unchanged and does not require tickets.
