Every Wednesday evening (no exceptions!) they convene for live Old Time fiddle, New England, and Irish dance tunes. Callers lead contra, square, and occasionally English set dancing. This type of dance has a devout and enthusiastic following around the world.

The center's mission encompassed archival, pedagogical, and research goals in the field of oral history, with particular emphasis on the history of Indiana and the Midwest, and to address the growing interdisciplinary field of memory studies, of which oral history is one important facet. The Center for the Study of History and Memory continues to build upon its work in the field of oral history while broadening the range of its research projects to address the many ways that people remember, represent, and use the past in public and private life.

Each theatrical season features an exciting mix of original plays and musicals, established works, family-friendly classics, and shows for young audiences. Through its year-round education programs, Constellation aims to nurture a love of the performing arts in students of all ages in South Central Indiana. Throughout the year, Constellation’s Film Department produces a variety of film projects (all shot in Indiana), hosts a screening series of classics, indie films, and cinematic experiences, and offers a variety of hands-on filmmaking classes and workshops. Through the efforts of Eli Lilly and Indiana University, the Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology was dedicated as an independent research facility with the Indiana University community in 1971. In addition to curating Eli Lilly's archaeological collection and the records and collections from Glenn Black's excavations at the Angel Mounds site, the Glenn A. Black Laboratory also curates over 10,000 collections, made up of millions of individual artifacts, representing over four decades of archaeological research in every county in Indiana and at significant sites throughout the Midwest.
The Harrodsburg Heritage Days Association plans the Heritage Days Festival, which is held each year the last weekend in May. The group also generates funds for a community building and playground equipment for Harrodsburg, a community founded in 1837.

The Lakota Language Consortium (LLC, The Consortium) is one of the foremost Native American language organizations in the country. A nonprofit organization made up of Native community leaders, linguists and volunteers, its primary mission is the complete revitalization of the Lakota language, one of only a small handful of Native American languages left that has a significant chance of survival.
Local Clay Potter's Guild promotes individual artistic growth. Promotes the artistic standing of local clay as a whole and contributes to the growth of interest of ceramic arts in Indiana. The guild supports the annual "soup bowl" benefit and sponsors an annual education workshop.
