Bloomington Hospital's Alzheimer's Resource Service serves families and professional caregivers who live or work with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. Care for the caregiver is a primary mission of the center, and education, support, and resources are offered at no charge. Funded by the Bloomington Hospital Foundation. Adult Protective Service (APS) Units were established to protect endangered adults in Indiana and to provide protective services to these individuals.
Get involved! Leave a legacy! RSVP 55+ Volunteer Program is a clearinghouse for adult volunteers, helping volunteers find their perfect match based on their interests and needs. RSVP has 100s of volunteer opportunities throughout Monroe and Owen Counties. For those who are already volunteering, RSVP provides a social community to support and recognize their service. Volunteers submit their hours to help provide information to state and federal agencies regarding the impact older adults have in our community. A program of Area 10 Agency on Aging.
