The All Breed Rescue Alliance of South Central Indiana, Inc. (ABRASCI) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. The Alliance was created in 1998 by six individuals who worked with their respective breed rescue groups dedicated to the rescue of a particular breed of dog. These individuals saw a need in Monroe County to work together, share information and publicize the concept of breed rescue.

Description

We are a 501 (c) 3 animal rescue and sanctuary dedicated to ending the senseless killing of animals who have been discarded by society and place them into loving homes where they will be cared for for the rest of their lives. The rescue is able to operate through donations, fundraising and grants that we are able to secure. We do not receive government funding of any kind and are in constant need of financial and volunteer assistance to ensure dogs get the care and attention they deserve.

Pets Alive Nonprofit Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic

Since 2005, Pets Alive has performed more than 224,000 affordable, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries. In addition, our Wellness Clinic offers preventative care for pets by providing low-cost vaccines, microchipping, flea/tick treatments and more; in 2021 alone we gave more than 16,000 vaccinations! Our goal is to ensure that all furry family members have access to basic health services, regardless of their person’s financial position. Our mission is to end pet overpopulation through spay/neuter and assist community members and their pets to live their healthiest lives.
