Girls Incorporated is a national youth organization dedicated to helping girls become strong, smart, and bold. We provide programs to girls after school, on weekends, and during the summer through our network of affiliates. In addition, we conduct research on girls' issues and advocate for girls. Girls who participate in our programs range in age from 6 to 18 and come from a variety of backgrounds, including Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, Native American, and Asian, among others. Fifty-four percent are from single parent families.

Griffy Lake Nature Preserve is 1,179 acres off North Dunn Street, with a 109 acre lake. The boathouse is located at 3300 N. Headley Road. Scenic woodlands teem with wild flora and fauna Nature Preserve. Swimming is prohibited in the lake, and to protect wildlife, all dogs must remain leashed while in the preserve. Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County promotes home ownership by building houses in partnership with families in need of adequate housing. Our mission is to build simple, decent homes for people in need with no interest, no profit.

We are a non-profit organization that focuses on Indian heritage and culture. Hare Krishna Indiana provides free lectures and study to those interested in learning Sanskrit, Kirtan, yoga, meditation, self-perfection, how to handle stress, and more. Childrens services are also available and lead by Hare Krishna Indiana's youth organizer. Workshops are also lead on different topics and include videos, music, crafts, and so much more.
