Elm Heights
Emmanuel Baptist Church
Here at Emmanuel, we are Fueling a Passion for Following Jesus. A relationship with Jesus begins with understanding the central message of the Bible: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but by him (John 14:6). Our church exists to proclaim that simple but life-changing message in our community and across the globe.
We believe that the gospel is the centerpiece of faith and life. The gospel is the good news about what God has done through Jesus. God has not only created the world, but since all humanity has fallen out of right relationship with Him, He has brought salvation to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus, His Son, and He will one day make all things right for all time. The Bible considers this message about what Jesus has done as the foundation for Christian faith (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-5), and so do we.
Enis Furley Foundation
Scott Rolen’s Enis Furley Foundation is a non-profit organization created by Scott Rolen of the Cincinnati Reds. Our foundation is named after Scott’s eldest dog, Enis. In 1999 Scott had a vision to brighten the lives of children and their families who are dealing with an illness, hardship or other special needs. The Enis Furley Foundation works to achieve this goal by entertaining distressed families at Camp Emma Lou, our outdoor recreational retreat near Bloomington, IN. The Enis Furley Foundation also provides families unique and exciting, “once in a lifetime” sports experiences through our community outreach program, the Hot Corner Kids. Ultimately, our goals are quite simple and focused … we want to make children smile!

We Believe in one God. That in Jesus Christ was manifested all the fullness of the Godhead, bodily. (Colossians 2:9)
We believe that Jesus is the incarnation of grace and truth (John 1:14) and that we are called to follow this example in our lives.
We believe in repentance of sins, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5) and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4; 10:4; 8:18, 19:6)
