The Indian Creek Lions Club participates in state and international Lions Club activities, contributes to International Funds, participates with Midwest States in Leader Dog Program, provides some scholarships, eyeglasses (used glasses for donation to the needy), firewood, and minor home repair.
The Indian Student Association (ISA) at Indiana University in Bloomington, is a student-led organization, founded by Native Americans of Indiana University and led by an elected executive board consisting of sixteen chairpersons. The association strives to bring awareness to Native American culture to both the campus and Bloomington community through some of the university's biggest cultural programs, independently and in conjunction with other ethnic organizations, as well as sponsoring volunteer work in the Bloomington community.

Indiana Legal Services (ILS) is a nonprofit law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to eligible low-income people throughout the state of Indiana. ILS helps clients who are faced with legal problems that harm their ability to have such basics as food, shelter, income, medical care or personal safety. Most of the cases ILS handles are cases such as family law where there is domestic violence, housing, consumer law, access to health care, and access to government benefits. ILS does not handle any criminal matters.

The Indiana Prevention Resource Center (IPRC) was established in 1987 to assist Indiana based alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) prevention practitioners to improve the quality of their services.
IRCA staff work with family members & agencies throughout the state to support their efforts on behalf of individuals with autism. IRCA staff participates in research, development, and dissemination of information. They also conduct various training events and provide individual consultations.
The Indiana Search and Rescue Association (INSARA) incorporated as a non-profit membership organization in 1994. INSARA is comprised of dedicated paid and non-paid professional search and rescue (SAR) response organizations, agencies, and individuals. The primary missions of the Indiana Search and Rescue Association (INSARA) are: To increase professionalism among its members through the development, promotion, and implementation of nationally recognized search and rescue training and operations standards and the certification of search and rescue responders. The mission of the Club is to encourage youth in the Bloomington area to experience the sport of swimming at a variety of levels, from the beginning swimmer to the national caliber swimmer, in a safe and supportive environment that fosters discipline, sportsmanship, and self-esteem.

The Center for Human Growth was established in 1970 as a counseling center for residents of south central Indiana. Clients include members of the community as well as people associated with Indiana University. The center is staffed by graduate students in the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at Indiana University. Each student counselor receives supervision from a faculty member or an advanced graduate student being supervised by a faculty member.

Indiana Youth Musicians provides area young musicians with an opportunity to play music in a supportive, yet challenging environment. At IYM youth are given a chance to try out new and different possibilities in music. Musicians may be encouraged to try their hand at something a little different, whether it is joining a small chamber ensemble for the first time or trying out music in which they are unfamiliar.
